Tab Washer

A tab washer is a type of washer designed with one or more small, flat tabs or projections extending from the inner diameter of the washer. These tabs are bent or folded over the threaded fastener (such as a nut or bolt) after assembly to lock it in place and prevent loosening due to vibration or other forces. Tab washers are commonly used in applications where securing a fastener is critical, such as in automotive and machinery assembly, as well as in construction and industrial equipment
