Bolts
Bolts are male fasteners with external threads, typically used in conjunction with female-threaded fasteners or holes. Bolts are commonly inserted through the materials being joined and secured in place by a nut or another female-threaded fastener, typically employed in applications requiring significant load-bearing capacity due to their larger size.
Omni manufactures the following bolts:
- Hex Bolt: A standard bolt with a hexagonal head for general fastening applications
- 12-point Bolt: A high-strength bolt designed for transportation, heavy equipment, and engine system applications
- Lag Bolt: A heavy-duty screw-like bolt used for securely anchoring wood to other materials
- Carriage Bolt: A bolt with a round head and a square neck, designed for smooth, secure assembly in wood and similar materials
- Flange Bolt: A bolt with a flanged head that distributes pressure and resists loosening in high-stress applications
- Heavy Hex Bolt: A robust bolt with a larger head and greater strength for demanding structural connections
- Structural Bolt: A high-strength bolt designed for use in structural and construction applications
- Tap Bolt: A fully threaded bolt with a flat or countersunk head, suitable for fastening and finishing surfaces
